NGC 7822

NGC 7822

Wide-field view of NGC 7822, an extended emission nebula located in the constellation Cepheus and associated with a rich star-forming region.

The image reveals large-scale structures of ionized gas interwoven with dark dust clouds. Several Lynds dark nebulae embedded within the field contribute to the strong contrast between luminous emission regions and dense obscuring material.

Together, these elements highlight the overall morphology of NGC 7822 and provide a broad view of the distribution of gas and dust within this active region of the Cepheus molecular complex.
