Dust Structures in Cepheus

This region is dominated by extensive diffuse clouds, faintly illuminated by the combined light of nearby stars, forming a complex network of dusty veils and filaments.

The image also reveals several additional structures from the Lynds catalog, including the emission nebula LBN 552 and the dark nebula LDN 1228.

Together, these features trace the large-scale distribution of interstellar dust and gas within the Cepheus complex, highlighting its fragmented and layered morphology.
