Narrowband image of the Flaming Star Nebula (IC 405) and Tadpole Nebula (IC 410) region in the constellation of Auriga.

The composition uses a SHO palette.
IC405 is a region dominated by Hα emission, ionized by the star AE Aurigae.
IC410 is associated with the open cluster NGC1893 and contains dense dark globules (“tadpoles”) visible in silhouette against the surrounding Hα and OIII emission.
